He is specialized in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital and Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, followed by residency training at Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. He did a short-term fellowship in Medical Retina at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

Dr. Abhiyan Kumar Pattnaik is a board-certified Ophthalmologist, Member of the All India Ophthalmology Society, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, International Intraocular and Refractive Surgery and a trained LASIK & Refractive Surgeonspecialized in Lasik laser Surgery in New Delhi, India. He graduated from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, Karnataka and went on to complete a Masters Degree in Ophthalmology at Aravind Eye Hospital & Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Following his higher surgical training in Ophthalmology at Aravind Eye Hospital, he did his residency from Dr RP Centre For Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi and then completed a Clinical fellowship in Medical retina at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India.
He has been an invited faculty at national and international meetings involving refractive surgery. He has various publications in national and international peer reviewed journals like JSCRS, IJO, and Ophthalmology. He is currently a Senior Consultant and Director, Dr Pattnaik’s Laser Eye Institute, New Delhi, India.
