Dr.Pattnaik’s Laser Eye Institute, New Delhi has been conducting regular school screening programs since 2008 to assist in the early identification of vision abnormalities in school children. It has been estimated that up to 10% of school children need glasses. We have set a target of screening all children from government and private schools in and around New Delhi.
The program ensures that we:
• Screen the vision of every child in school.
• Identify obvious eye defects.
• Offer subsidized treatment in the form of spectacles or surgery.
